You have to help the main character to ward off suspicion by going on the trail of a real murderer, for which it is necessary to go through a lot of non-linear quests, simultaneously communicating with a variety of people.

While an investigation is underway and no official charge has been brought against the protagonist of the Beat Cop novelty, he has been transferred to the patrol police unit, and the game begins on his first day at a new duty station. You are the tasks that Kelly should perform, are automatically entered into his notebook - just complete them step by step, not forgetting to carefully read the large number of dialogs that will help to form an opinion about each new acquaintance, be it a colleague, a local salesman or a pastor from the church.

To control the main character of Beat Cop, tapas are used - click on any location zone and the hero will automatically go there (one tap is a normal step, double-tap is a run).
