Bob's World is a journey of a distant relative of the famous plumber Mario named Bob through a fairy-tale universe inhabited by natives who are not too friendly to strangers. The goal of the adventure is traditionally closely intertwined with the amorous affairs of the protagonist - a villain kidnapped Bob's beloved and keeps him as a prisoner in his palaces. Passing level after level of a colorful platformer, the user brings the character closer to the rescue of his beloved.

Evil mushrooms, snails, insects, carnivorous flowers, toothy fish and crabs with strong claws, fire-breathing dragons, and ghosts patrolling the air - the type of enemies and their number depends on the current location. It is not difficult to neutralize the danger - just jump on the head of the enemy or use ranged weapons in the form of bombs. The main character picks up explosives while traveling or buys them for gold coins.
