In strategy, both attacks and defense are of the same importance, because while your main forces are thrown into the next fortress, insidious enemies, for example, barbarians, can take advantage of temporary weakness and attack your garrisons, and all valuable resources are stored there, having lost them there is nothing to think about the quickly victorious march through the territory.

In addition to the base itself, the developers of Grow Empire: Rome were quite attentive to the diversity of personnel - war elephants, capable of destroying almost any obstacle with their mass, well-aimed archers pouring a shower of arrows on the enemy ranks, swift cavalry sweeping along different flanks in a whirlwind, ordinary infantrymen performing the function "Cannon" meat. In total, there are thirty-five types of units, all of them should be unlocked and the combat characteristics of each warrior should be maximized. Of particular value are the fighters endowed with ultimatum abilities, there are only four of them, and to get one at your disposal is akin to almost 100% victory. Blast through hundreds of European cities without giving the opposing enemy the slightest chance of victory!

Fortunately, in Grow Empire: Rome, the user will not feel a shortage of these important materials - each conquered territory will automatically bring a certain amount of money and resources to the general treasury. This good should be disposed of economically, calculating in advance the risks and expediency of buying certain units and siege weapons. The project is graphically designed with a bias towards cartoonishness, which does not at all detract from the strategic seriousness of all events taking place on the game map, especially since the authors paid close attention to drawing even the smallest details, the same buildings look original, and each branch of the military has its own unique appearance.
