SalonAdvisor. Here's an overview of a new app called 'SalonAdvisor'. It seems to us that it will be of interest primarily to the beautiful half of humanity, since, in fact, it is a navigator for beauty elephants, hairdressing salons, massage parlors, nail studios, and solariums in Russian cities. It can be used by all owners and owners of the iPhone, iPad, and Android phones.

We tested the SalonAdvisor app and found a number of pros and a couple of bugs. First, about the good. The application has a nice design. Rich purple color is taken as a basis; there are also white, gray and small blotches of light green in the color scheme. Such a palette, in our opinion, does not irritate the eyes or overstrain the brain.

The SalonAdvisor app has quite a few features. You can choose the service you are interested in, find the nearest salon that provides it, choose a master and sign up for a time convenient for you online or call there to clarify the details you are interested in. The application contains detailed information about more than 40 thousand establishments in the beauty industry, including their addresses, phone numbers, opening hours, services provided and distance from your location. Without leaving SalonAdvisor, you can see on the map exactly where the salon you like is located.

SalonAdvisor has an intuitive interface that is easy to figure out. When you get inside the application, you see the menu, which is simple and straightforward. It lists the main categories of beauty industry establishments. There is also a search bar and an item “Nearest”, where you can see which salon is closest to you.

Choose the salon you like, click on it, and your gaze is presented with a salon card containing all the information necessary for the client: salon photo, website, address, services, opening hours, contacts. It also contains buttons: call, look on the map and sign up.

If the salon is connected to the application, the recording takes place literally in three clicks: choose a service, a master, the right time, and it's done. If not, you can call the salon on the specified phones directly from the application.

The SalonAdvisor application allows you to add your favorite salons to Favorites (you need to click on the star on the salon card) and view the entries, reminds you of the upcoming visit to the wizard, and also contains information about discounts and promotions - these are very useful options, in our opinion.

Now let's talk about the shortcomings that we found in the SalonAdvisor application.

Unfortunately, while this application can only be useful for residents of megacities. In addition, despite the fact that SalonAdvisor contains information about a fairly large number of salons, a relatively small number of establishments (mainly Moscow ones) have a connection, which limits the possibility of online registration. The second point, which we marked as negative, is the lack of a version for smartphones on Windows, although now many applications are created only for Android and iOS.

In general, the application is very convenient, smart, and contains a fairly large amount of information useful for the regulars of the salons. So far, the range of venues available for booking is limited, but it seems to us that over time SalonAdvisor will overcome this drawback and be useful to residents of not only large but also small cities of Russia.
