Save the Puppies is a nicely designed logic game from HandyGames that invites every gamer who downloads it to become a direct participant in the rescue mission to free little cheerful puppies from captivity. The gamer will have to control the dachshund dog, which, as you know, has short legs and a long body, and our heroine is also capable of stretching, which gives some advantages and sometimes disadvantages within the gameplay. There is no special plot in the new product, but from a small starting video one can understand that little puppies got into the car of an employee of the service for catching stray dogs - their further fate is very sad and something urgently needs to be done about it.

Each stage of Save the Puppies is a small field, consisting of many cubic tiles, different ladders, traps, bushes, and other obstacles. Our goal in each separate puzzle is to break the locks from all the cages where the puppies are sitting, thereby giving them a chance to rescue, it is also advisable to find and pick up a golden bone at each level. The main character is controlled by a virtual joystick located in the lower-left corner of the screen. The dachshund can only move along the cells, moreover, only to the left, right, or forward, the heroine is not able to move backward due to such a physiological feature as body length. The fact that the size of the dachshund also increases during the passage of the level (at the time of eating sausages) often seriously interferes with the mission - you can get entangled in a long body and rest on the tail, that is, go to a dead end.

But sometimes a long body, on the contrary, helps to pass the Save the Puppies level, for example, you can climb a hill using your own back. If at first, no one will particularly interfere with the task, then guard dogs, cats will be introduced into the gameplay, which distracts from the goal and other actors who do everything to confuse the dachshund. There is a limit of moves to complete each stage, and you can cancel the last action is taken or use hints. True, free help is not always available, and, therefore, it would be simply stupid to use hints mediocrely - save them for the final of the rescue operation. Currently, the puzzle of Save the Puppies contains hundreds of levels of increasing difficulty, so a couple of hours of an exciting time for fans of intellectual fun are guaranteed.
