Spike City is a journey of a character, externally stylized as a sword, through futuristic locations. This pixelated arcade game with puzzle elements requires concentration, dexterity, and planning of actions from the player - the main character's route looks like an intricate maze with mechanisms and closed doors, and you can't hesitate, because a fiery substance is approaching from below.

The character's ability to move in all four directions helps to avoid most problems, but the difficulty is still quite high due to the high-speed gameplay, which leaves no time for thought. The object of the game is to cover the maximum distance upward. The main thing to remember is that after the start of the movement, the selfless sword moves until it collides with an obstacle, and only after that is it able to change the course of a movement.
