Well, after all the preparatory procedures, you can go to the start - move around locations, collect useful resources, interact with inventory, and go for treasures in dark dungeons. In the "creativity" mode, you can reshape the game world as you wish, erecting majestic buildings and even entire cities with their own unique infrastructure.
