Lemmings is an arcade puzzle game, the main goal of which is to minimize losses in a group of characters following the exit from the location. Lemmings are cute, but rather stupid animals, endowed with a herd instinct. The heroes stubbornly wander forward, ignoring the dangers and threats of the world around them. You have to protect from death as many characters as possible, bringing the number of lemmings set in accordance with the conditions of the stage to the exit from the level, safe and sound.
The characters, although stupid, can perform some simple actions - dig vertically down or left/right. Use the portal system to instantly move to different points of the location. Build stairs to access high areas. Use umbrellas to avoid injury in case of an involuntary fall from a height. Place blocks to turn the marching group in the opposite direction, and so on.
