Monkey Ropes is an insanely hardcore arcade game that tells us the story of the journey of two inseparable friends from the primacy squad through the jungle of the tropical jungle. The novelty is interesting for its mechanics, which the guys from PlaySide Studios have successfully exploited in several of their projects. A feature of the main characters is that they are connected with each other by a long elastic rope, which at the same time acts as insurance against falling into the abyss, but at the same time it is incredibly difficult to correctly calculate the landing point of the leading monkey.
After tapping on the screen, one of the characters makes a jump, and after the finger is removed, he lands - it is necessary to ensure that the hero not only hits the hard surface but also helps his brother. Ponds teeming with crocodiles jumping out of the water and snapping sharp teeth, piranhas that can instantly gnaw to the bones a victim who is in close proximity, pythons with a deadly embrace and poisonous snakes, static and moving platforms, porcupines with sharp needles that inflict these painfully painful and many other mortal dangers await the path of brave heroes.
During the journey of Monkey Ropes, it is advisable to collect gold coins that open access to new skins for characters (Yakut children, jaguars, sloths, tigers, wild boars, ants, hippos, lions, okapis, lemurs, gorillas, fish, and many others), which, however, they carry an exclusively aesthetic variety without affecting the characteristics. In addition to the classic mode, the game provides two types of tests (lava and cave), but we strongly recommend not to go in there until you fill your hand in the standard version of the passage.
