Yr is a mobile weather informer, all data for which is supplied by the Norwegian meteorological center, so the accuracy of the information provided is close to the reference. In addition, the application has a stylish and friendly interface, automatically determines the current location of the user (you need to turn on the GPS module), the data is updated in real-time, and their display is possible both in graphic and text formats.

The Yr interface consists of three main pages, and the very first tab is the most aesthetically advanced - the sky is displayed in the background, which fully corresponds to the situation outside the window, for example, if it is raining, you will see the same on the screen of your Android device. Therefore, only by looking at the first tab, you can understand what is happening on the street at the moment - the gentle sun is shining, it is snowing or raining. Additionally, this page displays the current temperature, direction, wind strength, and a couple more information that is less significant for an ordinary user.

The next tab, Yr, is a standard information graph that provides data in a more dry and concise way for users who don't care about animation effects. By the way, if necessary, you can see the forecast not only by the time of day (morning, afternoon, or evening) but also turn on the weather display for every hour. The third page of the app is devoted to temperature graphs, rainfall, and so on. In order not to launch the application every time, you can display a nice widget on the smartphone desktop.
