Legion of War is a turn-based Android strategy for testing the tactical talents of gamers, which almost entirely consists of battles on the fields, divided into hexagons, occupied by different sides of the medieval world. The plot narration is rather modest, even truncated - unfortunately, there are no animated inserts, detailed dialogues between the characters, or explanatory information that appears on the screen that could introduce the user a little bit.

However, the actual combat in Legion Wars is fun and varied. On the fields, which, as we have already said, consist of many hexagons, the units available to the user unquestioningly carry out the orders given to the virtual commander - they follow to the point of deployment, attack enemy units, capture large and small settlements, increase their own potential and with all decisiveness and with boundless devotion they defend the point of view of their monarch on everything that happens in the medieval universe. All game actions are beautifully animated - characters in a rapid dash exchange powerful simple and ultimatum blows, accumulate experience, and pump rating.

In the Legion of War project from the WY Gaming studio, the hierarchy of the combat strength is not fully implemented. For example, it simply does not fit into my head why the fighters wielding axes and hammers in fact turn out to be much stronger than swordsmen, covered with almost impenetrable shields. Or for some unknown reason, a large group of archers is powerless in front of a crowd of peasants armed with pitchforks. And in the course of the battle, unexpected sides suddenly open up - so, quite often nature makes its own adjustments to everything that happens, for example, once in the forest, a gamer will clearly notice that his charges are losing accuracy and dexterity. The undoubted advantages of Legion Wars, however, include the absolute lack of advertising!
