UkiyoWave is a casual skill arcade game set in the setting of the famous engraving by Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai called The Great Wave off Kanagawa. Actually, after such an introduction, we can conclude that the game events will unfold not on land, but among the raging waves of the world's oceans, where the developers send the main character. By the way, there are several heroes in the arcade - a stock guy of Japanese appearance, in the future you can open a geisha, a frog, and a sumo wrestler.

There are four locations in the UkiyoWave project, traditionally only one is available, the rest are opened gradually for play money. So, what does the user have to do in this game? Just manage your ward, who fights with huge waves, cutting through them on a kind of surfboard.

The main task is to prevent the hero from being at the very bottom of the playing space, constantly moving him to the waves located above. The control system in UkiyoWave is implemented through swipes from side to side, it is they who help the character to jump to a higher position, maneuvering between high and dangerous waves that threaten to absorb the little brave. Depending on the location, the control also changes - so already in the second picture, upward swipes are added, and fishing boats, whales regularly appear on the horizon, tossing our character with a powerful fountain, gold coins, and various bonuses.
