XROSS CHRONICLE - According to the developers of this game, the universe is an interweaving of many worlds that exist simultaneously, but in different dimensions.

Many years ago, a portal opened between dimensions through which aliens entered the human world. People called them Yokai - youkai - these are supernatural beings, the name of which is borrowed from Japanese mythology. Humans have also come up with technology by which earthlings and aliens can become one. Both humans and youkai have unique properties, the combination of which creates an endless variety of symbiosis in excess of humans or humanized youkai - these are kind of avatars designed to fight aggressive creatures who, like youkai, entered the human world through portals between dimensions.

The player's task is to create an army from avatars of people and youkai that can withstand the invasion of warlike aliens. An infinite number of the symbiosis of people and youkai makes it possible to use different tactics and implement various strategic tasks, for example, to defend their own positions and attack enemy ones.

There are several game modes, but here are the main ones:

• Pvp duels in arenas.
• The story is a mode in which the main events of the game take place, according to the plot of which the player must advance.
• Scaler Tower is a tower defense mode.
• AutoPlay is an automatic game mode that gives players the ability to carry out tactical and strategic missions even when they are offline.
