Wild animals attacked the city, and it is from them that the character of Drill Master will have to escape, traveling through multi-tiered levels, interconnected by stairs. In order to move to a new level, the user, controlling the hero, needs to collect all the keys on the location, after which, as if by magic, a door appears, which is the portals for the next stage. In addition to the keys, other items should be collected, for example, additional lives in the form of hearts, drills, nuts, stars and other resources that are useful for buying improvements.
The first levels of Drill Master are educational in nature, and after passing them, the user will learn how to drive enemies into traps created with a drill or dynamite checkers, learn to distinguish between strength and feature of different building materials and so on.
