Goya-Move is an app specifically designed to help parents achieve two things: 1) distract their kids from their mobile phones and 2) get kids to lead an active (read healthy) lifestyle.
The epidemic of electronic devices gripped the youth. Symptoms: A sedentary lifestyle, sore eyes, addiction to social media, anxiety, and an inability to communicate with real people in real-time here and now. The developers of this application and parents in combination set out to take the function of "parental control" to the next level. They created an application that allows parents to remotely monitor the use of their electronic devices by their children, as well as assign children some tasks and monitor their implementation. For example, using the Goya-Move app installed on the parents' phone, parents can monitor the physical activity (number of steps or other motor exercises) of their children.
With this application, parents can also program the time and duration of the use by children of their devices, or the applications installed on them. As a result, these functions enable parents to allow or deny children to use their phones from/until a certain time, or until the children have done a specified amount of physical exercise: homework is not done - no access to mobile applications; or the child has passed No number of steps - no mobile games.
Goya-Move offers several user settings, the logic of which boils down to the fact that parents can control either 1) the time their children use their phones, or 2) perform some actions that can be measured remotely using a pedometer.
How does it work?
Parents, using the Goya-Move application installed on their phone, set the conditions, upon detection of which the children on their phones get access to the mobile applications specified by the parents.
Goya-Move is co-authored with parents and for parents. Our app is not a tool for punishing children. This is a digital way to teach children how to manage their own time wisely.
Solving the problem of too much enthusiasm for children with mobile phones, most parents do not bother too much, they just take the phones away from their children. Yes, this solves the problem here and now, but in the long term, children lose confidence in their parents. And vice versa: the Goya-Move application gives both parents and children an understandable, controlled and trusting interaction algorithm.
