NAVER Global Phrasebook is an indispensable application for Korean users who are going to visit any country in the world but do not speak the local language properly. This is a kind of colloquial dictionary containing more than two thousand phrases and expressions in Korean with translation into any of the fifteen languages available in the interface (English, Russian, French, German, Spanish, Mongolian, Indonesian, and so on), which may be useful for a traveler from a practical point of view. How does it work?
After starting the NAVER Global Phrasebook program, the user needs to select the required language in the settings, and then determine the thematic category of expressions, for example, culture, food, transport, shopping, medicine, and so on. If there is a misunderstanding between a Korean and a native speaker of another language in the process of visiting the country, the first one just needs to launch the application and select the sentence that suits the moment, after which he will see its interpretation on the screen in the desired dialect.
If there is at least minimal practice, then you can try to read the sentence, otherwise, the interlocutor can be shown the expression right on the smartphone screen since large letters will help to read it without any problems, or use the possibility of voice playback (this will require downloading additional file packages).
