EVE Online is a science fiction MMORPG game about the exploration of deep space by an earthly civilization.

Plot.

Earthlings have long conquered the nearest space, and the technological one is sufficiently advanced to send scientific and military expeditions beyond the boundaries of the assimilated outer space. One of such expeditions discovers a space-time portal, which turns out to be a sufficiently stable and predictable phenomenon for earthlings to pass through it from one universe to another, and return back. This space-time portal is called the EVE tunnel.

Earthlings, using the EVE tunnel, began to actively assimilate the EVE universe. This continued until, for unknown reasons, the EVE tunnel closed, dividing people on both sides of the EVE tunnel. Members of the numerous expeditions who ended up on the other side of the portal, forever lost the opportunity to return to Earth. Realizing this, people began a new era for themselves - the era of the struggle for survival, formation and development in the conditions of the EVE universe.

Several hundred Earth years have passed since then. People in the EVE universe were divided into 5 factions: the Amarr Empire, Gallente Federation, Caldari State, Minmatori Republic, and Giovanni Empire. The latter faction is an inactive NPC faction, which is controlled exclusively by the game masters - the game developers.

Limited resources, and limited access to technologies in the EVE-universe force the earthlings to periodically enter into battle against each other. Each time, there is more at stake than resources or living space - life.

The endless war between the Gallants and Calders divided 4 factions into 2 coalitions - Gallentei and Minmart against Calders and Amarrs. Against the background of such historical processes and the distribution of forces in the EVE-universe, each new player begins his game.

Notes:

The fifth faction - the Giovanni Empire - is engaged in creating game events aimed at maintaining the balance of power between the four factions on a global scale.

The game's plot on a local scale develops exclusively depending on the players.

EVE Droid BETA is an application designed to help players interactively access information about game events, various databases, as well as crafting tools of the game.
