MASKED - an action project from the studio sends the gamer into an ominous and unpredictable world, the main elements of which are annoying skeletons, powerful bosses, placers of gold coins and a little hero trying to improve his well-being at the expense of someone else's wealth. Will he be able to do it? Is not a fact! But if you install a novelty and help a determined adventurer, then this story may well have a happy ending - Happy End.

The miniature character's journey begins at the entrance to the ancient treasure, guarded by vigilant guards from the other world. You have to control a masked hero, who has only a massive sword from his weapon, but he wields it so deftly that every skeleton that meets with the blade risks instantly scattering into many white bones. Explore all the corridors and rooms of the dungeon, masterfully bypassing the traps, engaging in battle with groups of guards, demonstrating agility, fearlessness and loyalty to the idea.

It is generally accepted that noble knights act in the guise of true heroes, behind whose backs an uncountable number of victories and gallant deeds. But it turns out that this is not always the case, because our "hero" does not possess either strength or special prowess, but his thirst for profit is great, and it is she who pushes him forward, forcing him to neglect the sense of self-preservation. Remember that the tomb robber can die after a couple of hits, and therefore, under no circumstances should the enemies be allowed too close - the death of the hero is permanent, and, therefore, the entire path has to be passed from the very beginning.

In terms of genre, the MASKED project is closest to the "roguelikes", and the gameplay is not particularly pleased with the variety. Once in a gloomy dungeon, the user will have to successfully pass as many corridors and rooms as possible, periodically fighting back skeletons and bosses, collecting useful items and gold bars in huge quantities. Such a journey can continue indefinitely since the random system for creating locations will never send the player to an already passed territory - every time the layout changes, enemies become smarter, and the process of finding gold is more difficult.

In general, the MASKED project looks nice but too monotonous, gray walls, the same enemies, the lack of special dynamics, and besides, the developers have clearly gone too far with the donation - some locations are opened only for money. You should also be prepared to watch commercials - fortunately, there are not so many of them, but whatever one may say, this is still a solid distraction that will definitely alienate many players. By the way, the authors warn that although the new product is already available for download, it is not a full-fledged release, so some errors and problems with optimization are quite possible.
