Skyscanner is an online directory of cheap flights, car rental, and hotel reservations.
How does it work?
- The user sets the direction of his travel, and creates a search query;
- Skyscanner compares prices in real-time across 1,200 sources - car rental agencies, airlines and hotel booking systems;
- And it gives the user a search result from the cheapest prices, in ascending order, to the most expensive.
The user can also create a pending request. In this case, after creating a request, the application informs the user about the result of his request only when the prices for air tickets, car rental and hotel reservations in the directions specified by him have fallen in price.
Hotel reservations are free of hidden fees or commissions.
