CubeX is a Rubik's Cube puzzle simulator.
The purpose is to help you collect the Rubik's cube in the least number of moves.
How does it work?
Take a photo of the cube directly from the application - the application scans the arrangement of the colors of the cube and finds the shortest solution to any possible combination.
- The solution is visualized using animation, so by following the step-by-step visual demonstration of the solution, you can fold the cube.
- But apart from the photographic one, you can manually set the initial arrangement of colors for the virtual cube.
The application supports two ways to solve the problem:
- Jessica Friedrich (CFOP method) - this method assumes that the cube is assembled in layers (row by row);
- An advanced solution (God’s algorithm) - in this case, the application uses the two-phase Herbert Kociemba algorithm, which suggests that the cube can be folded in at most 20 movements.
