DERE EVIL EXE is an addictive 16-bit arcade puzzle platformer with retro horror and survival themes.
The gameplay introduces the player into cramped circumstances - too small shoes and a silent hero, whose proud name is Knight.
The player's task is to help the Knight run, jump and move objects of the game environment to the left, right, up and down; and this must be done in such a way that in the least amount of time and steps to find a way out of the makeshift tunnel - to survive.
It would be easy for the Knight to survive, and therefore boring, if surrealistic creatures did not wander around the game world - corrupt officials, taking the images of fears of real people who spread corruption in everyday life. Corrupt people have the ability to become invisible, which allows them to secretly watch their victims, who, having succumbed to the influence of corruption, are consumed by fear.
