FBReader is a mobile application for reading e-books in the most common formats:

ePub, FB2, PalmDoc, TXT, zTXT, TCR, MS Word doc; HTML, PTF, CHM; PDF, DjVu.

Properties:

• Opens archived files: zip, bzip, gzip, tor;
• Supports common encodings: windows-1251, windows-1252, utf-8, ibm866, us-ascii, iso-8859, GBK, Big5;
• Opens hyperlinks.

Functions:

• The program creates its own file system - a library - in which the user can group books by thematic sections;
• Search for books, pages, text, words;
• You can bookmark: books; pages; text;
• Translates text or words using the built-in dictionary;
• Reads aloud - audiobook;
• User history.

Operating modes:

• Night - day;
• Turning pages: scrolling or classic (animation of paper pages);
• The screen can be made horizontal or vertical to your liking. The text adapts to the screen. You can also set: text frames; style; font; background color.

Interface:

• No classic menu;
• There is a toolbar with concise designations of functions;
• The indicator on the screen displays:
• the total number of pages in the book;
• current page number and time.
