Jump Buddies is a complex arcade game with mechanics reminiscent of the famous Flappy Bird but in vertical scrolling. The division into levels in the game is conditional, and the passage continues until the first mistake of the user. As a square blue monster, traverse the corners of a dark cave filled with traps and narrow corridors, avoiding contact with walls and any surfaces.
The controls are controlled by tapes on the sides of the screen, which make the character jump and balance in a safe space with a gurgling sound. At first, the dangerous environment remains static, but then the walls and platforms begin to move, and from the dark corners on the hero's path, local inhabitants suddenly appear, which are safe for the monster, but frighten and make mistakes.
Collect stars along the way, which will open access to a special slot machine with new characters, because the stock hero is not at all alone in the game universe. Unlock a frog, penguin, zombie, panda, monkey, and other colorful travelers, each of which changes the appearance and design of locations.
