Sejalan is the Indonesian counterpart of the worldwide popular BlaBlaCar service, which simplifies the search for car companions (ride-sharing service). And for the second party (passengers), it is an opportunity to get from one point to another as quickly as possible, spending much less money on it than in the process of overcoming a similar route by public transport. People who do not like to travel long distances alone often use the service for finding fellow travelers - after all, the presence of a pleasant companion in the car is always welcome.
But far above all mercantile and social interests is the opportunity to make, albeit insignificant, but clearly positive contribution to the environment - cars are a source of exhaust gases that do not benefit the environment, and this, in our opinion, is the main plus of such joint trips. The interface of the Sejalan app is friendly and simple - go through the mandatory registration procedure, indicate the date of the trip, route, car capacity and cost of the trip, after which you can discuss other details with your fellow traveler (or driver).
