It will not be an exaggeration if we call this project one of a kind, since it is simply devoid of any visible flaws. Each level is a small room with an object suspended in the middle, illuminated by a bright lamp. The user, focusing on the shadow on the wall, needs to twist the abstract object in any direction in order to end up with an ideal shadow.
At the bottom of the display there are six miniature dots, the closer the player gets closer to solving the puzzle, the more dots will light up, in other words, they are a kind of landmark, a kind of beacon for the gamer, talking about the imminent achievement of the goal. The user cannot know for sure or even guess what he has to create at each level, and in this unpredictability, even any hint is worth a lot.
If at the first stages of Shadowmatic you have to interact with only one abstract contour, then as you progress through the levels, their number can vary up to several, and it will take not a couple of minutes, but up to half an hour to complete - try, guess what the creative developer has in mind. However, the gradual increase in difficulty allows you to gradually prepare for the most hardcore tasks while enjoying an aesthetic character from an interesting concept and its ideal implementation. An intelligible teaching chapter also contributes to the rapid overcoming of the threshold of entry, therefore, even a small child should not have any insoluble problems with the assimilation of mechanics. Moreover, at any stage of creating the perfect shadow, you can use an intuitive system of prompts.
Impeccable graphic design - this is what will not allow the gamer to quit solving game problems halfway through, because it is truly realistic, it seems that you really are in a darkened room, "conjuring" with an object in suspension. An enchanting soundtrack complements the idyll, so it's best to play with headphones to fully immerse yourself in the enchanting mystery of gaming.
