According to the plot, in a world where medieval and modern technologies are surprisingly combined, a certain magic crystal is responsible for the balance of power. Once the relic was stolen by a villain, after which unimaginable chaos and chaos immediately began to happen in the universe. In the role of a noble knight, the gamer must return the stone to its rightful place, but for this, he will have to go through a lot of deadly tests and destroy hundreds of enemies.
After launching the Soul Knight game and going through a little tutorial, the user finds himself in the first dungeon, which is generated randomly each time, that is, randomly. The goal is to find a portal that automatically transports the protagonist to a new dungeon, but for this, you have to wander pretty much because the caves are tangled labyrinths, besides, the enemies constantly remind of their presence. At the start, the gamer is given a weak revolver, which, although it does not immediately destroy enemies, does not expend valuable energy for each shot. Having cleared the entire location from monsters, as a reward, the character is given a chest filled with weapons, equipment, ringing coins, and energy.

Fortunately, the hero's travels will not take place in splendid isolation - a pet is given to him, which is also capable of inflicting, albeit small, but constant damage to enemies. On the way, you can meet other heroes and take them into your team, hiring them for a certain amount of gold coins. Death will constantly haunt our hero, and every time he dies, he will wake up in a medieval tavern, which is a kind of staging post - there you can upgrade a fighter or buy a new, more powerful and enduring warrior, and then go back to underground locations.
